Today is Stout Day at the Brewery!  We're brewing our first stout and we need a name... any suggestions?

Die Valkure is now upstairs basking in the balmy 70 degree weather of Der Fermenting Room, and the Lagering is still taking place in the space below my face next to the chase in the base... ment.  Now it's time to kick back and wait.

The Doomsday Lager is in the basement in full fermentation swing... bubblin' and lagerin' away!  It started slowly yesterday morning.
I'm heading to the supply store tomorrow afternoon to get some ingredients for a stout and for another batch of the Valkyrie.

Today was a big brew day-- The Doomsday Lager was born... it'll be unleashed (if we're still around) on Friday, Dec. 21.  --- Next week--- Die Walkure returns... Dale and I shall brew up a nice batch of the Valkyrie for the Holidays!

The Bev-tober Fest Beer tasting was a success!!!  All 4 kegs are kicked... Die Valkure was the first to go followed by the Nu Amon SPA... Then the Commodore, and pulling up the rear was the Frankenbier.
Which one did you like the best?

Big Carb Day

Getting ready to Carbonate 3 Kegs in One Day... that means:

1. Wash & Sanitize the Kegs
2. Fill them with Un-carbonated Beer
3. Top them off with CO2
4. Pressurize the Kegs

Then I'll be checking on them on Tuesday and Thursday to see that they're doing okay. Anyone wanna help on Thursday?
